What happened Brad? Pitt dresses down for premiere in head-to-toe black

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

At least someone made an effort: Brad Pitt dressed in all black but comedian Tina Fey wore a smart cocktail dress for the New York Premiere of Megamind

Perhaps he forgot he had a premiere to attend, or maybe Brad Pitt's luggage got lost in transit.

Whatever the reason the star barely made an effort as he attended the New York premiere of his new movie Megamind last night.

In an all-black outfit of leather boots, jeans, shirt, woolly hat and thick jacket, he looked dressed for a walk in the park, rather than a glamorous night out.

Although no stranger to this sort of event, Brad appeared uneasy on the carpet, with his hands in his pockets.

He didn't even remove his leather gloves for the photos, as he posed next to the cartoon stars of the children's film.

Brad provides the voice of Metro Man in the movie, starring alongside Tina Fey and Ben Stiller.

Comedian Tina had made more of an effort with her outfit, arriving in a black and white cocktail dress, her hair blow dried.

Brad, 46, only just returned to the U.S. from Budapest, where his partner Angelina Jolie is directing her latest movie, said to be a Bosnian War love story.

He took care of the couple's six children while she was on set, although the couple were also pictured enjoying some time alone together.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brad has just signed on for his next movie.
He will star in the comedic crime story Cogan's Trade, working once more with The Assassination of Jesse Jame director Andrew Dominik.

The report notes that additional Jesse James castmembers are being considered for the heist comedy, including Sam Rockwell and Casey Affleck, while actors Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem are also up for roles.
