No hard feelings: Jonathan Ross invited his Film 2010 replacement host Claudia Winkleman to his annual Halloween party

She may have replaced him as the new host of Film 2010, but last night Jonathan Ross showed there's no hard feelings as Claudia Winkleman arrived at his annual Halloween party.

The 38-year-old presenter wore a pair of fluffy cat ears as she turned up at Ross's famous bash at his home in North London.

Claudia was just one of the celebrities at the party, and joined stars including comedian Michael McIntyre and singer Jarvis Cocker as they celebrated the spooky holiday.

Swamped: Ross, seen dressed as a devil at the back, was swarmed by local children as he opened the door

But it wasn't only famous faces who turned up at the party, as it seemed nearly all of London had heard about the event and decided to trick-or-treat at Ross's house.

Ross, dressed as a devil with red face paint and horns, was swamped by crowds of young fans every time he opened the door to welcome partygoers.

However, Ross and wife Jane Goldman are used to dealing with a crowd every October 31st, and go out of their way to ensure the young crowds are catered for.

Going all out: Ross and wife Jane Goldman work hard every year to ensure their party lives up to expectations

Celebrity guests: Comedian Michael McIntyre arrived with wife Kitty, while Jarvis Cocker wore an unusual outfit

Speaking recently, Jane explained: 'Halloween is my favourite seasonal holiday, so it's fun to celebrate it and it's fun to dress up - it's the most fun kind of fancy dress.

'The only thing is, because our house is decorated for Halloween, we're always the ones who get the entire community come round for trick-or-treat.

'Because we always get all the kids from the neighbourhood, and now it seems actually most of north London.

Sweets galore: Ross and Goldman even hired a candy floss maker to ensure the children didn't go hungry

Enjoying the occasion: Crowds of local children queued up to catch a glimpse of their esteemed host

'So we tend to focus a lot on trying to make it nice and fun for them because a few people have come from quite far away to trick-or-treat at our house.

'So we try to make it worthwhile for them by making the front of our house look good and scary and making sure we've got plenty of sweets and Krispy Kremes and chocolates for them and hire an entertainer.'

And the couple went all out for tonight's event, hiring a candy floss machine as well as a Johnny Depp/Captain Sparrow lookalike entertainer.

Preparations: Ross posted pictures of carved out pumpkins and Halloween-themed cupcakes on Twitter
