Happy family: Reese Witherspoon was spotted leaving church in Santa Monica today as she ventured out with son Deacon and husband Jim Toth

It's been a tough month for Reese Witherspoon.

But after being hit by a car last month, the 35-year-old actress was looking back to her best today as she stepped out for her weekly church outing.

Reese looked on good form as she ventured to her local place of worship in Santa Monica, wearing a short tiered skirt and black top.

Fighting form: The actress looked on great form following her accident last month which saw her get hit by a car as she went for a jog

She was joined by her son Deacon Phillippe and new husband Jim Toth.
However, her daughter Ava,12, was not spotted at the service.

Reese kept her black eye from the accident hidden behind shades - but still managed to raise a smile as she left the church hand in hand with Deacon.

Sunday best: Deacon was decked out in smart beige trousers, suede boots and a check shirt

The seven-year-old, whose father is Ryan Phillippe, was decked out in his smart Sunday dress, consisting of a check shirt, beige trousers and suede boots.

Reese was hit by an 84-year-old woman, travelling at 20mph, back on September 7.
The woman failed to stop as the Hollywood actress jogged across a pedestrian crossing on the 20th street and Georgina Avenue area of Santa Monica during one of her regular runs.
