X Factor heartthrob Frankie Cocozza has bedded 67 girls, his proud father claims

Lothario: Frankie Cocozza's father has claimed that his famous son has bedded 67 women

He drew attention to himself during the X Factor auditions by displaying his behind, which had the names of previous conquests tattooed on it.

But while Frankie Cocozza, 18, says he wants to be taken seriously as a singer now that the live shows have commenced, his father is not helping his cause.

Frankie Senior has come out claiming that his teenage son has bedded at least 67 women.

Frankie's father told The People today that his lothario son has already beat his own track record.

The 45-year-old said: 'I don’t think he has slept with more than 100 girls. I think he is on number 67. I’d say my number is 30 or 40 but it might be more.'

The father-son duo posed up together for photographers outside the show last night.

Frankie has voiced his concern on a number of occasions throughout bootcamp and judges houses that he is just seen as a 'cheeky chappy' and not a serious contender with real talent.

But that hasn't stopped his flirtatious ways.

The teen was rumoured to have enjoyed a romp with controversial Over 25s contestant Kitty Brucknell in the jacuzzi at the finalists' temporary home in a Hertfordshire mansion earlier in the month.

Soon after, it emerged he was romancing Amelia Lily, 16, who left the series last Sunday night.

The young couple were pictured cuddling on a couch, and left the show together last week after Amelia's axeing from the competition.

A spanner was thrown in the works of that romance, however, when Geordie Shore star holly Hagan claimed publicly that Frankie had been sending her saucy text messages in recent weeks after the two hit it off on Twitter.

In an interview with Heat, busty redhead Holly said Frankie had texted her but didn't want the magazine to reveal exactly what he'd said.

But the publication said it had seen one of the messages and described it as 'filthy'. 'On a scale of the steam factor, the kettle's boiled over,' Holly said at the time.

Frankie's father is certain his son has the X Factor on stage as well as off.

He told the People: 'He’s got the looks, he can sing and he will get better.

'He’s been around for two years, some of the others in contention have ­probably been in their bedrooms singing, ­singing, singing. He hasn’t. He’s got the personality, the whole X Factor.'
